NaVion Community Association Management offers association management services in the Greater Baltimore Area.  With our offices centrally located in Elkridge, we manage residential and commercial condominium associations and homeowners’ associations throughout Maryland.

EMERGENCY FLOW CHART

If you are experiencing a leak, sewage backup, or other emergency in your unit, please follow the steps below.

Depending on the severity of the loss, a claim may be filed on the master policy and/or your homeowner policy.  Filing a claim can delay the completion date by at least 3+ weeks as it is entirely dependent on the adjuster’s schedule.  The adjuster must review the origin of the damages and the scope of work before proceeding.

Call NaVion 

STEP 1

REPORT

  • Call NaVion Community Association Management immediately to report a leak, sewage backup, etc.

  • NaVion Community Association Management will engage the association’s contractor and guide you through the process.

Call Your Insurance

STEP 2

INQUIRE

  • Call your insurance company to determine if filing a claim is necessary.
  • If your insurance company requires community documents, you can download them online.

Stop The Damage

STEP 3

REPAIR

  • The association’s plumber (if applicable) will investigate the origin of the leak and make repairs to stop the leak.

  • NaVion Community Association Management will advise you of their findings.

Mitigation

STEP 4

DRY

  • The association’s restoration company will begin the mitigation drying process.

  • This may require setup of large fans & dehumidifiers in your unit for 3+ days.

Restoration

STEP 5

RESTORE

  • The association’s restoration company will prepare an estimate for the Board and/or adjuster to review.

  • Once approved, the contractor will schedule restoration of your unit.

Master Policy Claim
(If Applicable)

STEP 6

CLAIM

  • Depending on the total cost and severity of the claim, the association may choose to file a claim on the master policy.

  • An insurance adjuster will review the claim and schedule an inspection of the affected unit(s).
